Engineering Team Lead

Engineering | New Delhi

As an engineering team lead, you will partner with product management, marketing and sales to accelerate the growth of technology initiatives at IndiaHomes. Reporting to the Head (Engineering), you will be managing an engineering team composed of developers and testers.

Responsibilities

·         Manage multiple projects at various stages of completion

·         Collaborate with internal and external customers to create products and solutions

·         Lead the engineering team during the entire software development cycle

·         Hire and manage/mentor a team of smart engineers.

Qualifications

·         B.Tech/M.Tech. from a top school preferred

·         5-8 years of experience in building web-based products/services

·         Strong technical expertise in Java and related technologies, high availability systems, design patterns and effective usage of data structures.

·         Strong expertise of Spring MVC framework and Hibernate, Multi-threaded environment, jsp / freemarker rendering engine.

·         Strong linux environment knowledge.

·         Jboss / Tomcat application server + Apache web server knowledge.

·         Strong Mysql database knowledge, should be able to write complex queries and background procedures.

·         Experience with rich user interface application development using JQuery / Dojo / Prototype framework.

·         Experience in complete software development cycle, including load testing and implementing bug fix / feedback on rapid pace.

·         Should be able maintain high standards of programing quality and application design.

·         Experience with latest programing IDEs ( e.g. Eclipse / IntelliJ-Idea )

Software Engineer / Senior Software Engineer

As an integral part of the engineering team, you will be directly involved with the development of various projects to accelerate the growth of technology initiatives at IndiaHomes. Reporting to the Technical Lead/Engineering Manager, you will be part of the core engineering team composed of developers and testers.

Responsibilities

        ·         Development on multiple projects at various stages of completion

        ·         Work hand in hand with the product team.

        ·         Work with other engineers and QA team in collaboration mode.

Qualifications

        ·         B.Tech/M.Tech. from a top school preferred

        ·         2-5 years of experience in building web-based products/services

        ·         Strong technical expertise in Java and related technologies, design patterns and effective usage of data structures.

Senior Product Manager

Product Management | New Delhi

As a Product Manager, you will partner with engineering, sales and marketing to accelerate the growth of the flagship website IndiaHomes.com. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer, you will manage the day-to-day prioritization of IndiaHomes.com's website initiatives.

Responsibilities

        ·         Understand the customer & competitive landscape for real estate in India

        ·         Collaborate with internal and external customers to understand their needs & define the product roadmap i.e. identify requirements and prioritize them.

        ·         Able to translate business goals into technical requirements and vice versa

        ·         Be an evangelist for IndiaHomes.com, able to partner with engineering, sales and marketing

        ·         Actively manage the feature development using data-driven decision making

Qualifications

        ·         MBA from a top school preferred

        ·         2-4 years of experience in Product Management for web-based products/services

        ·         Understand metrics used in acquiring and monetizing website visitors

        ·         Have a deep understanding of usability and experience in building websites for a broad audience

        ·         Comfortable juggling multiple projects at various stages of completion

        ·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Online Marketing Manager

Online Marketing | New Delhi

As an Online Marketing Manager, you will help drive paid/organic traffic to the flagship website IndiaHomes.com.

Responsibilities

        ·         Improve On-Page & Off-Page Search Engine Optimization.

        ·         Manage SEM campaigns.

Qualifications

        ·         2-4 years of experience in SEO & SEM.

        ·         Well-versed with On-Page & Off-Page Search Engine Optimization.

        ·         Know how to drive traffic to a website using Search Engine Marketing (Google, Yahoo, Bing).

        ·         Managed SEM budget or SEO initiatives in previous roles.
